British Indie Film Makers in Hollywood

Yesterday I had a call on my Hollywood hotline from Los Angeles. Ok it wasn't really my Hollywood hotline, it was a conversation over Skype.
Anyway it was a call from Simon Boyes. Now if you don't remember Simon was one of the driving forces behind Broken the low budget horror film that made a big impression with horror movie fans and critics.


Eureka Facebook Application

I just had a quick play at the 'A Town Called Eureka' Facebook application as I had a gentle nudge by the PR company.
The series is great I must say (Currently showing on Scifi Channel and now out on DVD), but I am a little dissapointed by the application. I am sure that a little more creativity could be used by the team who generated this, which at the end of the day is a simple general knowledge quiz.

I must admit I had my ego stroked with the result:

BBC Audiobooks will release two new audio-exclusive adventures in February based on the popular BBC TV Torchwood series. The stories comissioned from two distinguished science-fiction authors Dan Abnett and Steven Savile will be released both on CD and for download and will not be available in any other format. These audio-exclusive stories follow on from the highly successful Sarah Jane Adventures titles The Glittering Storm and The Thirteenth Stone which were released in November 2007.

The Alien from Ridley Scott’s original Alien film has been voted the most terrifying movie monster, according to a new survey by the Sky Movies Sci-Fi & Horror channel. To celebrate Creature Features, a week long celebration of hairy critters, mutated monsters and long-legged beasties from 4th February, Sky Movies Sci-Fi & Horror polled 2,500 movie fans through the skymovies.com to find the creepiest creature, the results were as follows:
